Love: Art, Ideas, Music, Politics
Let’s talk about love.
In today’s world it seems like you can say almost anything about sex, but we still don’t know how to talk seriously about love. Beginning in 2013, a group of people in Wollongong, Australia, got together to try to change that. The result was Love: Art, Ideas, Music, Politics, a series of events which bring together likeminded people to celebrate love and to explore what love means to us today.
The contributors to this book were part of the Love: Art, Ideas, Music, Politics experience. They participated in one of our events, helped organise the festival, joined a reading group or responded to our open call for contributions. The result is an eclectic collection of musings on love that will inspire and challenge you to reflect on what love is.
Inside you will find essays, creative nonfiction, poetry, artworks, songs, photographs, drawings and even a recipe! Come with us on our journey to find out what love means to us today.
